Memo Weekend

What a fun weekend, mellow but good. Had Xander both Friday and Saturday and then on Sunday went to the Soundset '09 at Caturbury downs. It was cool to see, only thing that sucked was i missed P.O.S. I really wanted to see those guy's. I ran into Seth in the V.I.P. section. I've seen him in his other local band called Building Better Bombs. A total diferent project than POS but all good just the same. I finally Saw Atmosphere and to think all the times i've ran into Slug (Sean) around town, I finally got to seen him in action, Good shit!! Bigger than gun Bigger than cigarettes<--Closser=Good. I guess the big attraction of the event though was Phar Side they played for the first time in almost 15 years. they were cool, just never really listen to them back in the day. Oh and DOOM from Doomtree played and they were horible, the sound was all fucked up and i guess (from what i was told) that they lipped synced a bunch of the shit... Pussys! Doom is part of Pitchfork this year.
Monday I hooked up with Jimmy and kicked it old school down by the river, it was a killer day to be drinkin PBR's, climbing trees, and rope swinggin. Then we rode the bike's back got more PBR's and then had a picnic outside of Rainbow Food's.

Today is the Day.

And I'm not talking about the band. I'm up way to early. Today is going to rock! It start's out with my niece's little B-day Party then off to A full day of out door (killer) music at Grumpy's NE, part of the Art-A-Whirl weekend. and then we go to the Triple Rock and end our day with King Khan and the Shrines. Hold it now...Hit it! This is going to be Sooo much fun, what's a better way to kick in the summer? The weather is going to be slightly cool, (High of 60º) but no worries the excitement will heat it up!!

Wednesday is Hot

So is her Mom.
Sitting in class eating candy. I get to drive to DT Mpls to where Lisa and Xander are squating. Its a cool place but they wont be there to long. Lisa's friend Joe is staying at the loft and Lisa and Xander is hanging out there for a bit, the place is pretty sweet and if i could hang there for a summer i would totally do it. Thats what I know.

I live in Sha-Ko-Pee

38 year old kid and living below the rents, Everyone is waiting for me to catch up. This town has changed so much in the 20 years I've lived here. I had a scary experience, more like a vision last night, as much as i respect Turtles Bar, I can't handle some of the people (if not all) that hang out there. So glad that i won't get sucked into that place, some of those folks are defiantly stuck there...WoW!(?)...
If I hear one more time that "ooo you live in Mpls? Scary" WTF does that mean? Their is more crack, meth, Nascar, in Shako than anywhere. Check out the Shako Police report somtime.. It's Hilarious! The locals down here just don't get it. I think that people there are easy, that why the crime rate is going up. People are moving to small towns to make money.
I feel safe in the Mpls., Anyone want to go to the city and check out some music?

Fucked Up at the Triple Rock 04.8.09

I saw Fucked Up (Toronto Canada) and it was so much fun (as you can see). I discovers this picture about a week later on this site called Culture Bully and i was like "HELL YES"!! This happened about 1 minute into the show. I was one of many that got picked up and thrown off the stage. It was afun as hell wild time.
